Candidates must have mechanical engineering certificates and must have experience in oil/petrochemical industries.

Maintenance Site Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Assist Maintenance Engineer to coordinate maintenance work
• Plan, Coordinate and monitor site manpower, materials and logistical resources to ensure continuity & efficiency of processes and resources
• Receive supplies and ensure proper storage on site.
• Ensure that works are carried out according to plan and schedule
• Able to carry out all responsibilities of a Site Supervisor in an oil/petrochemical engineering construction site
• Able to oversee daily operation at site
• To ensure that workers and subcontractors comply with all maintenance work and safety measures required
• Liaise with sub-contractors and customers with regards to all matters pertaining to maintenance work
• Report and assist Maintenance Engineer and relevant personnel
• Conduct daily safety toolbox meeting, inspections of worksite to ensure compliance on safety matters
• Responsible for the upkeep of documentation on maintenance and safety matters
• Prepare Risk Assessment prior to maintenance work commencement
• Application of permit for work on site

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a ITE certificate in mechanical engineering or equivalent (foreign)
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in a local engineering construction company
• Reasonably good in both written and oral communication skills is essential
• Must be able to interpret and understand technical drawings.
• An independent, highly motivated and a good team player.
• Ability to operate Microsoft excel, words and power point
