Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate with client’s representatives and sub-contractors on technical matters and cost evaluation matters
2. Prepare Job Method Statements and Drawings if required
3. Carry out maintenance work planning, design, material requisition, cost control, maintenance supervision and documentation
4. Perform incoming inspection on maintenance work materials delivered on site by the suppliers/vendors to ensure they meet specified requirements and to arrange for any testing required
5. Co-ordinate and sequence subcontractors work according to the maintenance schedules.
6. Liaise with subcontractors and ensure that they complete the works on site according to schedule
7. Check, supervise and inspect (as appropriate) all mechanical works performed by subcontractors on site to ensure that quality works are produced
8. Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising at site
9. Consult and inform immediate supervisor on any problems related to Quality and HSE matters
10. Liaise with client’s representatives on the inspection of work
11. Assist in handing over of completed works and rectification of any defects by the appropriate subcontractors
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent (foreign)
2. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in a local engineering construction company
3. Reasonably good in both written and oral communication skills is essential
4. Must be able to interpret and understand technical drawings.
5. An independent, highly motivated and a good team player.
6. Use of AutoCAD would be an advantage
7. Ability to operate Microsoft excel, words and power point
8. Having Singapore driving license would be an advantage
9. Oil Petrochemical safety for workers/supervisor certificate
