Job Description:
The Position

 

The position is a very wide role requiring you to have many abilities from helping the customer with understanding the application to correcting defects deep inside the core of the product. The job is very far from asking the customer to check the cables and then reboot the system. Based on your previous work experience and abilities you will be partnered together with another analyst/developer in our buddy system to be responsible for a number of customers. Together you are responsible for all support from issue report to delivery of the solution to those customers.

 

You will be in working in a highly sophisticated and complex multi tiered, multi server system using databases from both Oracle and Microsoft. Business logic is developed in the .NET architecture. As a Technical Analyst / Support Developer, you will own the issue throughout the whole process and communicate the progress of the issue to the customer. The role includes continuous international customer interaction (by phone, e-mail and meetings). This role also requires you to fully understand the product Carrier Cockpit.

From a technical perspective, knowledge and experience from the following is a merit:

·          SQL development (Oracle PL/SQL and/or MS SQL Server)

·          MS .NET framework, VB .NET, VB6

·          Oracle Databases

·          MS SQL Server Databases

·          MS Analysis Services and Reporting Services (including development of DTS-functionality and Reporting Services reports in MS Visual Studio)

·          Windows Server 2000 and 2003
